Muddie Plants
Created in 2024, Muddie Plants is a conceptual plant store that strives to provide the best plant care to their community. Muddie Plants is a place that is playful, fun, and isn’t afraid to get their shoes dirty for the greater good. As a new brand, a logo, icon, and website were all required to get started.
Brand Identity
Muddie Plants feature two main logo variations. Both include a shoe icon, where various shoes and plants would be able to swap out with what is currently there, providing options for the company. A softer colour palette and a round font type is used for this design, to showcase the playful side of Muddie Plants. This company uses contrasting warm tones against cool tones to aid in the softer feel.
The whimsical use of a plant in a shoe, presents to the community the ‘not so serious’ side of the company, making the business more inviting and friendly. By using a colourful palette, as well as common shoes and plants, Muddie Plants shows everyone they are still a modern company who understands their customers.
Website
For the website, a home page was created to get the business started. This page illustrates a warmed colour palette to look inviting and down to earth. This is also indicated by the use of wavy lines, rounded corners and plenty of images.
Muddie Plants needed their website to show the fun and caring nature you can have when becoming a plant parent, as they see plants as something other than decorations. Because of this they also wanted to highlight their care guide and blog that they upload information for people to read.
