Dluxe Bonnets & Essentials is a local Melbourne brand that specialises in hand made, high quality satin hair bonnets, head wraps & scrunchies for African hair. A brand identity was established for this brand in 2022.
Brand Identity
The logo had a need to represent the consumer audience with African culture. It had to be modern, minimal and direct, with a colour palette that connected to African heritage. The brands products use quite heavy patterns in its fabric, so to contrast the logo needed to be more minimal.
The brand owner had requested a one line drawing of an African girl, which aided in the direction to visually represent Dluxe Bonnets & Essentials.
Packaging
The logo has been used on packing for the products, in gift sets, tags and signage.
